The Fort Ord Reuse Authority (FORA) has established a Three-Party Planning effort to study future sources of water to augment the Fort Ord Base Reuse Plan. This effort is in conjunction with Marina Coast Water District (MCWD) and Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency (MRWPCA) and was established in 2015 by a Memorandum of Understanding between the Three Agencies.
The Three agencies agreed to establish an ad-hoc Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to provide FORA staff with input through the effort. The TAG is not a Brown Act Committee. All three agencies agreed to open the TAG meetings such that the public may attend.
The purpose of the TAG is to support the study of water augmentation alternatives by providing information and expert advice to staff. The TAG does not make recommendations to the Committees or the Boards of the respective agencies. The members of the TAG have agreed to meet as necessary, and have not set a calendar.
The following are meetings held to date:
- Thursday December 15, 2016 at 2:00pm Review the Request For Proposal Scope of Work for the Water Augmentation Alternatives Study.
